Intra-Facility Cable 

Intra-Facility Cable (IFC) consists of one or more sub-units containing twelve 900 micron fibers.

IFC is typically used indoors between an optical distribution frame and the cable vault, to connect optical distribution frames or to connect patching to splicing sub-racks inside an optical distribution frame.
