The Medium-Size (FIST-MB2-MC) Fiber Splicing and Termination Boxes provide environmental and mechanical protection for both the fiber and its components, and permit appropriate access while maintaining the highest standards of fiber management.

The medium box is available in two different versions:

The FIST-MB2-S is designed to splice cables to cables and is configured with splicing functions only.

The FIST-MB2-T is designed to terminate fibers to pigtails and is configured both with splicing and optical connector patching functions.

A pre-mounted UMS profile (Universal Mounting System) provides the foundation for mounting combinations of SOSA2 and/or FSASA2 modules.
