Flame Retardant Splice Closure

 
Features

  • Fire resistant in accordance with Telcordia Specification Gr-771
  • Base and dome sealed with clamp and O-ring system
  • One oval entry port for looped cable
  • 4 or 5 round ports for single cable entry/exit

  • Compatible with most cable types (single fiber or ribbon) and cable constructions (loose tube, central core, slotted core)
     

The Flame Retardant Splice Closure (FOSC-400 FR) is made with a flame retardant material and can be used for splices in cable vaults and buildings.

 
Cable seals use a Raychem heat-shrinkable sleeve and hot-melt adhesive system that is installed with a hot-air gun. The product can be used in any environment (aerial, buried, handhole, manhole) and in many applications (expressed, tap-off, branch and repair).
