The QDF-888 Impact Tool terminates wires quickly and reliably. It has a non-orienting tip that allows for rapid alignment with split cylinder contacts. The wire is cut by the split cylinder and not by the tool, so there is no cutting edge to dull or scissor mechanism to fail.

The tool features a built-in hook for removing terminated wires. A lever for releasing magazines from their mounting bracket is also incorporated.

Disposable installation tools are also available, one type installs one wire at a time and a second version can install a pair of wires. They may be either thumb- or screwdriver-operated and are rated for a minimum of 40 installations.
