XAGA 1650 Splice Closure

The XAGA 1650 splice closure system provides a fast, simple method for sealing and encapsulating buried splices.

Incorporating SuperSleeve material, the XAGA 1650 closure also implements Raychem's urethane delivery system, which drives encapsulant into the core of the cable. The compact shape requires very little encapsulant, is very easy to fill, and can be reentered quickly. It is available in a wide range of sizes to fit virtually any cable.

Customers who purchase the XAGA 1650 splice closure system from Tyco Electronics - Raychem are not supplied with any encapsulant. The approved encapsulant for use is CasChem 165 available from CasChem Inc. a subsidiary of Cambrex Corporation and managed by Rutherford Chemicals.
