The PedCap RE closure system seals wirework on air-core or filled cables in pedestals. It features a large cap with a heat-shrinkable opening that fits over a butt splice in new or existing pedestals. Four kit sizes accommodate 25-pair to 900-pair cables. PedCap RE closures can be installed in less than 15 minutes, and provide complete environmental protection against water, frost, humidity, sunlight, and insects. The PedCap RE system can be reentered and resealed many times by using the PedCap reclosure kit.
