Coupling
polyethylene conduits or ducts by hand is a time consuming process
that can cause wrist fatigue and inconsistencies in the quality
of each duct joint completed. To reduce installation time, increase
the level of quality, and provide greater consistency, hydraulic
coupling presses are used. With duct counts per route increasing,
presses are preferred by a growing number of installation contractors.
